PINK TAPE does not offer sign-up or login, and does not collect directly identifying information such as your name, email, or phone number on any server. The videos you record and your editing data are stored only on your device.
However, PINK TAPE uses the RevenueCat SDK to verify PINK TAPE PLUS purchases, check subscription status, restore purchases, and help prevent misuse. In this process, RevenueCat may process information needed for subscription management, such as Apple receipts, purchase history, subscription status, an app user identifier (an anonymous identifier generated by RevenueCat or used by the app for subscription verification), and device and operating system information.
PINK TAPE requests camera and microphone access in order to record video and capture audio. Recorded video and audio are never uploaded to any app server; all processing happens on your device.
When you export (save) a finished tape, we request permission to save it to your photo library. We do not read or transmit other photos from your library for any purpose other than saving.
To provide the service, the app stores on your device the video clips you record, your editing data (captions, trims, effects), whether a subscription is active, and whether first-run guidance has been shown.
PINK TAPE uses RevenueCat, Inc. to provide subscription features. RevenueCat may process purchase-related information and technical information as necessary for subscription payment verification, entitlement access, purchase history restoration, and related technical support. PINK TAPE does not use ad networks, personalized advertising, or SDKs for tracking users. Purchase information processed through RevenueCat is not used for advertising tracking or personalized advertising.
When you tap export or share, your video may be passed along through the standard iOS share sheet. Any app or service you choose to share with is governed by that service's own privacy policy.
Subscription payments are processed through the Apple App Store's payment system. The app does not directly collect or store payment method information such as card numbers. Subscription status may be stored on your device to provide app features, and purchase and subscription status may be verified through RevenueCat.
Video and editing data stored on your device are deleted together with the app when you uninstall it. Deleting a tape inside the app removes it from your device immediately. Purchase and subscription information processed through RevenueCat may be retained in accordance with RevenueCat's and Apple's policies for as long as necessary to provide subscriptions, verify payments, restore purchases, and respond to accounting or dispute matters.
PINK TAPE does not sell or provide your videos, audio, or editing data to third parties, and does not perform advertising-related tracking. Purchase-related information needed to manage subscriptions may be processed through RevenueCat, but only to provide subscription features and restore purchases.
PINK TAPE is not directed to children under 13 and does not knowingly collect children's personal information. If you believe that children's personal information has been collected, please contact the email below.
If this policy changes, we will update the effective date on this page. For material changes, we may provide additional notice in the app or on the website.
